Havanın sıcaklığıyla ilgili soru sorarken ise şu kalıp kullanılır;

What is the temperature?
What is the temperature today? (Bugün sıcaklık kaç derece?)


Her iki soruya cevap verirken de hava ve sıcaklık cansız varlıklar oldukları için
"It is ..............." şeklinde cevap verilir.

A: What is the weather like today?
B: It is windy today.

A: What is the weather like in summer?
B: It is boiling hot and always sunny.

A: What is the temperature?
B: It is 7 degrees Celcius.
